What are the aims of this programme?

The main aims of this programme are to:

  1. create an awareness of how parents can get involved with the education of their children
  2. inform parents and the community about the current development in education
  3. educate parents and the community about the various educational systems and procedures
  4. to equip parents and community with the relevant skills and knowledge to effect change

How will I benefit from this programme?

After completing this programme, you will be:

  1.  better informed about how you can get involved in your child’s education
  2. more educated about current developments in education
  3. get involved with the education system as you will be better skilled to do so

Who can apply?

This programme is open to any organisations (e.g. schools, community centres, etc) who are working with parents and young people.

What’s involved?

This programme will use modern teaching strategies to make the programme engaging and interactive. It will cover key topics related to education that will help parents and the community to engage with the education processes in this country.

Each session will last for 3 hours
